Jarred Gress is a talented fantasy author known for his captivating storytelling. Born in Idaho and raised in Montana, Jarred’s experiences growing up with dysgraphia, a learning disability affecting writing, inspired him to find solace in storytelling. Despite the challenges, he developed a passion for writing, drawing inspiration from Montana’s natural beauty and close-knit communities.As a behavioral health clinician, Jarred blends his psychology background with his writing talent to craft engaging narratives. His travels across the United States have also influenced his work, reflecting his own journey in the diverse landscapes and cultures he encounters.Jarred’s debut book, “Tales of the Steppe,” is a coming-of-age story set in Columbia Falls, Montana, exploring themes of identity, courage, and the power of love and family. The book follows Anthony’s journey as he navigates adolescence, discovers confidence magic, and uncovers secrets of his family history.Outside of writing, Jarred enjoys exploring the great outdoors and currently resides in Alaska with his fiancée and their two dogs. His writing reflects his deep understanding of human behavior and his commitment to portraying the triumph of the human spirit over adversity.
